Q: What is the cost for an estimate?


A: We offer quotes at no charge. Unlike estimates, which can fluctuate, our quotes are fixed and will not change, even if unforeseen issues arise. The quoted price will only alter if additional services are requested beyond the initial agreement, such as the removal of an extra stump or the felling of a small tree.


***You Will Be Charged A $50 Service Charge If:   we show up at the scheduled time to give you a quote and you decided you no longer want a quote, or the service has already been preformed when we show up at agreed time.  Our time is very important to us as yours is to you.  Please be considerate and contact us ahead of time to cancel the quote to avoid this unnecessary charge .***


Q: When is the ideal time to remove a tree stump?


A: It is best to remove a stump promptly for several reasons. Stumps can attract termites and other pests. They may pose a liability if someone trips and sustains an injury. However, the optimal time for removal is when you are prepared to do so. Often, stumps remain because people are unaware of the available removal methods.

 Q: Do I pay now or after the stump grinding is completed?   We prefer that you pay after the job has been completed to your satisfaction.  We suggest that you NEVER pay anyone for tree service or stump grinding in advance.  If they can't afford to do the service without pre-payment they don't need to be in business.

Q: What are the payment options?

A: Currently, we accept cash, checks (with valid ID), and most major credit cards. *Please inform us if you intend to pay with a credit card when requesting a quote.*


(Please note, a 4% fee is applied to all credit card payments to offset processing charges. Paying by check or cash will save you this 4% fee).

Q: How much will it cost to grind my stumps?

A: Our prices vary from stump to stump however we do provide a multi-stump discount. Due to each stump being different we are unable give you a quote for stump grinding service over the phone. We measure stumps at the widest point at ground level (not where it is cut) to calculate how much it cost to grind your stump. Stumps cut 6" or closer to the ground generally are done a cheaper rate. We charge a minimum of $100 for stump grinding service to cover the expense of up-keep and bringing our equipment out.

Q: What is the quickest way to contact you?
A: The quickest way is by phone. We make every effort to answer the phone, but sometimes we are not able to. Please leave a message with your phone number and we will return your call as soon as possible. A: Here are some of the areas in Catawba County we serve: Bandy, Banoak, Blackburn, Brookford, Claremont, Conover, Cooksville, Drums Crossroads, Duan, Fairbrook, Fairgrove, Hickory, Killian Crossroads, Longview, Maiden, Meadow Brook Village, Mountain View, Murrays Hill, Newton*, North Hickory, Olivers Crossroads, Oxford Park, Plateau, Propst Crossroads, Rhoney, Saint Stephens, Sherrills Ford, Startown, Sweetwater, Viewmont (we serve all of Catawba County). Q: Do you operate in adverse weather conditions?

A: Adverse weather significantly increases the risk of our operations. We prioritize safety above all; if a task cannot be performed safely, we will not proceed. Working in poor weather conditions may be deemed an emergency and could incur additional charges.

A: We have been in business since 2006

Q: Are You insured?
A: Yes we are insured, and we provide proof of insurance upon request. At normal business hours we can fax you a certificate (proof of insurance).

Q: Do you have a minimum charge?

A: Yes we charge a minimum service fee of $100 to cover the cost of up-keep and bringing our equipment out.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?


A: Yes, we do.  You do not pay until we have finished, and you are satisfied.  If you do find something that we missed within two weeks of us grinding your stump, we will come back out one time and get what we missed for free.
